Many employers pay their employees only peanuts for the work they do. This leads to the good employees job hoping to other companies which pay more. Unless the employer raises the pay package, he would not be able to attract capable people for his job.
This is proof of the saying, "if you pay peanuts, you will only get monkeys to work for you."
